Day 1: - Arrival at Srinagar
A land that has magic imbibed in its landscape, where imagination meets reality, where the spell of nature is in abundance, and where the mountains conquer your soul, such is the splendour of Kashmir!
Your journey here begins with your arrival in the sparkling lake city of Srinagar where you will meet the representative. You will move from the Srinagar airport and check in into a charming little houseboat!
Come evening, you will rejoice in a Shikara Ride over the Dal Lake. As you sail over the serene waters of the famous river, you can take pictures of the mountains beautifully reflecting on the river's surface.
Your exciting first day of the Kashmiri escape will end with an overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 2 : - Excursion to Sonmarg
After a delicious breakfast, you will embark on a thrilling day-long outing to the pristine town of Sonmarg. The town is surrounded by peaks that shine golden due to the rays of the setting sun, hence it has been nicknamed , Meadow of Gold.
You will also get to witness the majestic Sindhu River as it roars away with its natural flow. During summers, trout and mahseer fishing is popular on the banks of the Sindhu River.
Surrounded by pleasant meadows and tall conifer trees, the magnificent glaciers of the Himalayas will take your breath away. You can bask in the fresh air and the beautiful sights of the glaciers.
You will enjoy this day full of picturesque places till the evening. Then, you will head back to Srinagar.
Your second day will also end with an overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 3 : - Sightseeing in Srinagar
Post breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and proceed for a day full of local sightseeing in Srinagar
First, you will visit Shankaracharya's Temple. Built in 371 BC, it is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva that towers over the city at a height of 1100 feet above the valley floor. Lore has it that the great philosopher, Shankaracharya, lived in this temple during his Kashmir visit. After this, it came to be known as Shankaracharya's temple. Although many changes have been made to the original structure, it still retains the essence of ancient architectural style.
After that, you will visit the exquisite Mughal Gardens such as Nishat Bagh, Chasmeshahi, and Tulip Garden. Surrounded by the Himalayas, the gardens boast numerous trees, vast lush, green lawns, intrinsic fountains, and a colourful, stunning display of a variety of flowers that are visual feasts!
Your flowery day will end with an overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.
Day 4: - Srinagar to Gulmarg
After breakfast, you will depart for the magnificent town of Gulmarg. Meadows bursting with colourful and delicate flowers, silvery snow- topped mountains, and dense forests of conifer, fir, and pine trees, the town of Gulmarg is a haven of lush wilderness.
On reaching Gulmarg, you will ride on the thrilling Gondola. Second- longest and second-highest cable car in the world, the Gulmarg Gondola attracts people from far and wide. As you head to the mountaintop in the cable car, you will come across a captivating panorama of the valley. During winter, the mountaintops are delightfully perfect for skiing, snowball fights, and building snowmen along with your friends and family. It is the most ideal place for family vacations as well as a retreat for couples.
You will go to the hotel in the evening. This charming day will end with an overnight stay at Gulmarg.
Day 5: - Gulmarg to Pahalgam
After an early breakfast, you will head straight to Pahalgam. It translates to Valley of Shepherds in the Kashmiri language. Situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from the Lidder River and Sheeshnag Lake, Pahalgam is a montage of green meadows, dense forests, and swiftly flowing water bodies.
In Pahalgam, you will visit the historic Awantipura Ruins.. They are the ruins of a once grand temple of Awantipura. Almost 1,100 years old, the shrines still stand proudly, nestled in the green valleys of Pahalgam. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this temple was built by King Awantivarman who ruled Jammu and Kashmir during the 9th century AD. The intricate carvings and magnificent structures reflect the ancient architectural genius.

In the evening, you will return to Pahalgam, where you will stay for the night.
Day 6: - Pahalgam
Post breakfast, you will walk towards Baisaran Valley, about two kilometres away from Pahalgam. Surrounded by snowcapped mountains, green meadows, and dense forests, it is often known as the Mini-Switzerland of India. It is a quaint little place where you can embrace nature in its totality and marvel at its magnanimity. You will also see the small village nestled amidst the pine and fir forest that offers a stunning Kashmiri landscape. You can rejuvenate your spirit while you are surrounded by the splendour of the Himalayas.
After returning form Baisaran Valley, you can spend a relaxed evening in the hotel or explore around a little.
The day will end with dinner and an overnight stay at Pahalgam.
Day 7: - Departure
After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and proceed towards the Srinagar Airport.
Your Kashmiri escape comes to an end here. With a soul revived by nature, a mind fresh with lovely memories, and a heart full of happiness, you will leave the enchanting Kashmir.
